Shaolin Temple Defenders was formed in 2003 and is composed of 7 members: Lion Of Bordeaux (Emmanuel Guérin-Ponjouanine) on vocals, aka Priest Pierre Petit on guitar, the organ Cédric Lacaze, Jeremy Ortal on bass, Mickey Fourcade on drums, Laure Fréjacques on trumpet and Vincent Fort saxophone.
Originally from Bordeaux, the 7 warriors of the groove are primarily a live band whose performances energetic superheated atmosphere reminiscent of legendary American clubs.

Vanilla Fudge is an American rock band. The band’s original lineup – vocalist/organist Mark Stein, bassist/vocalist Tim Bogert, lead guitarist/vocalist Vince Martell, and drummer/vocalist Carmine Appice – recorded five albums during the years 1967-69, before disbanding in 1970. The band has reunited in various configurations over the years, and is currently operating with its four original members. The band has been cited as, “one of the few American links between psychedelia and what soon became heavy metal.”

Dennis Coffey was a studio musician for many soul and R&B recordings.
As a member of the Funk Brothers studio band, Coffey played on dozens of recordings for Motown Records, and introduced the wah-wah guitar sound to Motown record producer Norman Whitfield’s recordings, the most notable of which is Cloud Nine by Temptations. He also played on Edwin Starr’s “S.O.S. (Stop Her on Sight),” The Isley Brothers’ “It’s Your Thing”, and Freda Payne’s “Band of Gold”. In addition, Coffey scored the blaxploitation film, Black Belt Jones.
