Recently, K-Def and his one man band released this 20-year-old demo tape “Tape One”, which you can listen below in full length. Marley Marl at the time was so taken with the tape that he drafted in K-Def for the classic album “Here Come the Lords” from NY vetties The Lords of the Underground. What followed is history: K-Def became a successful producer, for the likes of El Da Sensei, Ol ‘Dirty Bastard, Craig Mack, Puff Daddy and Ghostface Killah.
