“Since i did my first “self-released” vinyl project earlier this year (cf. “Mellowbay Keys”), i’m haunted with that “total freedom” feeling that came along with the project. I absolutely wanted to work alone one more time, so i started to work on a follow-up…
I wanted to work on longer tracks this time, so i needed to use more space (more time) to express myself.
Here’s the result: a self-released record, 12 inch format.
“Life Per Day” is a reasonable way of thinking, meaning something like “everything in its own time”. Paradoxically, it also means to fully live each new day.
It’s probably one of the most important thing to me, to take a little time every day to travel (with music), to do things without any hassle… For each new day, a new life. Like sampling, for each new track, new samples, and a full natural change.” – Somepling
