JayLotus born Philippe Edison is a saxophonist turned producer from Houston, Texas. Jay started making beats inspired by the work of J Dilla & AFTA-1 after his departure from Berklee College Of Music in 2010 but later developed his own sound in 2011 experimenting with live instruments and synths.
